HHRF February 2022 Webinar- Making Sense of Horse-Human Interactions: Exploring Real World Data
February 23, 2022 @ 7:00PM — 8:00PM Eastern Time (US & Canada)

Are you interested in equine assisted services as a treatment for veterans with PTSD? Join the Horses and Human Research Foundation (HHRF), Dr. Laurie McDuffee, DVM, PhD, DACVS, and Dr. William J. Montelpare, Ph.D., for a free webinar and presenting the preliminary results from an HHRF funded project exploring the efficacy of equine psychotherapy on human-horse dyads through changes in measures of stress hormones and heart rate variability measures (HRV) in both human and horse participants, along with PTSD symptoms in humans, and measured behavioral responses in horses.
In Webinar #2 we will explore the Statistical Considerations that emerged in our Horses and Human research, and especially with regard to EFP applications. For example, while in Webinar #1 we introduced the concept of synchronization within the responses of the dyads, in Webinar #2 we will review the methods to calculate the measures of agreement between the selected objective and subjective measures that help us to understand the effects of the EFP program on the well-being of horses and humans.
