Dr. Peters' Brain Dissection Wet Lab- Thursday 4:00- 5:30 (PM)

A highlight of this 90 minute experience is the hands-on equine brain dissection—a rare opportunity for participants to examine the internal structures of the horse brain. This direct experience deepens understanding of how neural architecture supports movement, perception, and learning.

Participants will leave with an evidence-based framework for interpreting how horses process information and form associations—replacing assumptions with clarity and optimizing their learning.

Please note YOU MUST HAVE COMPLETED the Horse Brain Science Clinic on February 17 and 18 to be eligible for the wet labs on February 18.

Dr. Stephen C. Peters, Psy.D., ABN is a Board-Certified Clinical Neuropsychologist and Equine Neuroscientist, author, and internationally recognized educator whose pioneering work has helped define the modern field of equine neuroscience. For more than three decades, he has bridged human neuroscience and horsemanship, advancing an evidence-based understanding of the horse's brain and its influence on learning, behavior, welfare, and the horse-human relationship.
